The Base Module includes a comprehensive set of tools for displaying, and performing quality control (QC) of geologic data in "composite" log display views, multi-well cross sections, and maps. You can copy your results to a document or create scaled hardcopy CGM files.
Log Display
- Display any number of wells in different tracks and create as many tracks as necessary
- Edit curves by adding, moving, or deleting points, or adding or deleting segments
- Flatten tracks on a marker for stratigraphic correlation
- Align tracks along TVD or MD
- Extract a property at the intersection of the well with a seismic cube, velocity grid, or reservoir grid and display it as a curve
- Import well trajectories, logs, markers from separated or combined files, from LAS or simple column-based files
- Access and update well data from OpenWorks® or GeoFrame® using the OpenSpirit plug-in
Cross Section Viewing
- Create cross sections from well-to-well (dog-leg) and display the wells as pillars with TVD corrected logs.
- Project horizontal wells into the section with logs displayed along the deviated well path
- Pick cross sections arbitrarily through a seismic cube, velocity grid, or reservoir grid
- Display well logs, stratigraphy, facies on all the tracks using track templates or customize each track
- Intersection with a seismic cube, velocity grid, reservoir grids, horizons and faults can be displayed along any track
- Display horizon, reservoir grid, faults, in the panels between pillars
- Create scaled hardcopy CGM files of the results
Map Viewing
- Display reservoir grids, surfaces, wells, fault gaps, 2D grids with rapid contour generation
- Create spider plots to show accurate surface/bottom hole locations for deviated wells, as well as marker locations along the well paths
- Display curves for cartographic and reference features
- Create scale hardcopy CGM files of the results for print generation
