The Base Module provides basic modeling and
interpretation functionality including full 3D visualization,
data import and export facilities, automatic fault network
construction, horizon construction, fault and surface editing,
volume computation, property manipulation 2D map generation,
cross section analysis, well viewer and hard copy output.
It is required to run all other modules in the suite. |
Why |
The Base Module's data management component
provides a shared-earth modeling environment from the mudline
to the basement, including reservoir and overburden. The
3D structural framework uses patented technology to quickly
and accurately map any structure. |
How |
Well picks, seismic horizons and faults can
be imported and validated from third party sources. The
Base Module contains tools for cleaning data, mapping,
building structural frameworks and modeling the subsurface.
Faults, fault networks and horizons are automatically and
quickly constructed. |
