Populate a 3D grid with a complete petrophysical model.
Facies can be modeled using pixel-based approaches or object-based techniques. Advanced object modeling techniques are available with the complementing Object Modeling Module. Stochastic and deterministic algorithms are available. Petrophysical properties can be generated everywhere in the 3D grid or by layer and by facies. In the latter case, it is possible to ensure a smooth transition between the modeling regions. All algorithms offer ways to simultaneously include multiple constraints beyond well data such as 1D, 2D or 3D trends, locally varying orientation, conceptual geological drawings. Continuous property simulations can also be generated separately within any pre-simulated categorical (facies) property. Interactive 1D, 2D and 3D variogram modeling options are provided. Variogram modeling may be performed in in XYZ or stratigraphic space for correlating data within the same layers across faults.
Property modeling is workflow based. A dynamic workflow allows users to create their own property modeling sequence, which can be saved for further use in another project
or to update the model when new data are available. Users are guided through the workflow by a series of questions and are presented with different options based on their answers. All parameters can be defaulted
in a first pass and then modified at any time. The Reservoir Properties Module offers an extensive set of post-processing options such as computing different statistics on simulated properties (mean, min, max, percentiles), computing volumetrics, etc.
Reservoir Property Workflow creates automatic XML or HTML reports along with user annotations and pictures.
