Important: To run GOCAD Suite 2.5.0 on Windows 64, you must upgrade your FLEXlm license server to version 11.3. For all other platforms, we strongly recommend that you upgrade your license server to version 11.3.

FLEXlm License Server packages are available at the Paradigm/Earth Decision download site ( HYPERLINK "http://gocad-download.pdgm.com" http://gocad-download.pdgm.com). To install a license server, please follow instructions in the "GOCAD Suite and License Server Installation Guide" document.

These patches can be downloaded free of charge from http://sunsolve.sun.com/. It is highly recommended to apply the latest patches specific to your OpenGL version and graphic card. You can obtain full lists of patches per operating system at http://sunsolve.sun.com/.

Mozilla® Firefox (UNIX only)

 

Accessing Help on UNIX requires a browser that supports Java and JavaScript. The most common UNIX operating systems provide a copy of Mozilla® Firefox. All versions of Mozilla should be compatible with the Help.

More recent versions of Mozilla for various operating systems are available from: http://www.mozilla.org/releases/
  Java or JavaScript must be enabled to display the Help. If you want to use the Favorites feature in the Help to bookmark topics, Java and cookies must be enabled.

Qt Enterprise License

 

Developers may need to purchase a Qt Enterprise License.

Notes:
1. Required memory is for normal usage of the GOCAD Suite. Use of large datasets will require more memory.

2. The hard drive size indicated is for use with the GOCAD Suite only. Disk space should be increased if extensions from other vendors are installed or if data are installed on local hard drives. It is recommended to work on the data locally to optimize performance.
